Dear Holly, (from the Tiger guy)
On a more serious note, I have this chick that Ive liked for a while, and you know the story behind it. Anyway, I repeatedly asked her out, and she always agreed, said she would "check her schedule", then blow me off. One time in particular stands out because it was her who asked me out. I agreed and she said shed get back to me on a date the next day. Needless to say it didn't happen, so at that point I just said screw it I'm done. Next time I see her, she comes up all flirty as though nothing happened. What does one say or do to a person with such obvious issues?
Sincerely,
Utterly confused and receiver of mixed signals
Dear "finally" falling for someone in a long term way-one,
I believe in, keep fighting for what you believe in. Now, might be the wrong time, but always follow your heart and do what it says. Sometimes, people call others "foolish" or "obsessive" for not chasing or following what they believe in, and you know what? to put it simply: they can stuff it.
I'm not saying stalk her (I know you never would) or try to force something that just cannot happen, but never give up, especially when you don't know.
HOWEVER, with that, I want to tell you, to always keep your guard up, always hold a hard and ready heart, prepare for disappointment, just don't expect disappointment.
Sometimes too, its not the right time to date, sometimes because some people have to mature and change a bit, and things come between two people, or the person you are trying to pursue has past damage (like a divorce or bad break up) and has a too hard heart that is afraid to love, tho people should not live or feel that way, sometimes damage affects them to do strange and unruly things, and sometimes, its worth the wait if you have that chance to be with the one you love.
So, its finding a happy balance of not letting that person surround and destroy you, but not giving up on them either if that is what you desire.
Keep marching solider, I know that the right one is out there, and it may seem fishy now, but one day, she will come through, and pray fully she will come through your favor!
Sincerely,
hopeful "past and currently experienced" with similar emotions one, Holly
